As we move further into 2025, foundingGIDE continues to progress with several key events and initiatives. In this newsletter, we share updates on our upcoming sessions, reports, and opportunities to engage with the community.

Euro-BioImaging Data Days

Online | 7-11 of April 2025

Euro-BioImaging Data Days is a week-long free online event that will bring together Euro-BioImaging Node staff, researchers and other experts from across the globe to explore and discuss the latest advancements in the field of image data.

Here you can join us for a dedicated foundingGIDE session on April 8, from 9:00 to 11:00 CET.

Biomedical Imaging Data Workshop

Online | 23 of April 2025

Join the community for an engaging workshop organized by Global BioImaging on biomedical imaging data. This session will dive into key challenges and solutions for imaging data repositories, interoperability, and infrastructure for preclinical and clinical imaging data. Panelists from France Life Imaging, German BioImaging, foundingGIDE, and Australian Imaging Services will share their expertise and experiences.

foundingGIDE Community Event 2025

The 2025 foundingGIDE Community Event is already on the horizon! Mark your calendars for October 17–18, 2025, in Brisbane, Australia. Express your interest here.

An overview of the metadata and ontologies used by global imaging communities is essential for foundingGIDE.
