foundingGIDE good quality

Dear all,

foundingGIDE set out with an ambitious goal: to bring together the global biological and biomedical imaging community to lay the foundations for interoperable image data.

Today, as the project concluded, we are proud to look back on the collaborations, technical advances, community engagement, and shared vision that have helped move the field forward.

While the project has reached its end, the work established through foundingGIDE will continue to support a more connected global image data ecosystem.

foundingGIDE technical outcomes

The foundingGIDE project has successfully developed a technical stack that enables researchers to search bioimaging data across globally distributed repositories, laying technical foundations of an interoperable global image data ecosystem.

The GIDE stack represents 30 months of technical developments aimed at enhancing the interoperability of biological and preclinical image data resources.

What's next?

Stay tuned as we will be sharing more information on the project outcomes with the community soon.

We hope to see you at Global BioImaging Exchange of Experience on 26-29 October in Heidelberg or online (online registration is still open).
