foundingGIDE project reached the one-year milestone! Launched in 2024, foundingGIDE set out to enhance interoperability for biological and preclinical imaging data.

The two major events of 2024 were the foundingGIDE Community Event in Okazaki, and the foundingGIDE BioImage Hackathon in Kobe, Japan, which brought together over 150 people from 26 countries. We’ve made significant technical progress by exploring and addressing key challenges to enhance imaging data interoperability.
