foundingGIDE at Helmholtz Imaging Conference 2024
The foundingGIDE project, coordinated by Euro-BioImaging, will lay the foundation for a Global Image Data Ecosystem (GIDE) that connects different biological and biomedical image data resources across the globe to allow metadata and data sharing.
At foundingGIDE we are looking forward to connecting with imaging communities!
On 14-15th of May we attended the Helmholtz Imaging Conference 2024, where we engaged with specialists in bioimaging and imaging data. The topics at the conference ranged from foundation models for single cell images in hematology to x-ray tomography applied to historical artifacts, to automatic analysis pipelines and technological solutions for metadata annotation.
We were particularly excited to connect with experts in imaging data and metadata from Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC) and NFDI4BIOIMAGE, to learn more about their work.
foundingGIDE also showcased a poster and for those interested more about our work subscribe to our quarterly newsletter!
Big thanks to everyone involved and to Helmholtz Imaging for organizing the conference and congratulations to the best image contest winners!
