foundingGIDE Community Partners
At foundingGIDE, we are committed to an open and collaborative development process. Interoperability in biological and pre-clinical image data will be achieved through coordination and engagement with the image data community. To this end, we invite organizations, research institutions, and other communities to become foundingGIDE Community Partners. Individuals are always welcome to join and support foundingGIDE development process through our community and developer events, and working groups.
What is a foundingGIDE Community Partner?
A foundingGIDE Community Partner is an early adopter (resource owner, data owner) who actively engages with our outputs (i.e. metadata model, ontology recommendation, search and analytics portal) as they evolve. These partners play a key role in shaping the development of foundingGIDE guidelines and recommendations by providing feedback, testing new functionalities, and contributing to discussions on requirements, challenges and solutions.
Benefits of Becoming a Community Partner
- Early Access: Get access to emerging developments within foundingGIDE
- Influence Development: Provide input on design, features, and usability to ensure solutions meet real-world needs.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with other researchers, data specialists, and organizations focused on life science and image data interoperability.
- Recognition: Be acknowledged as a foundingGIDE Community Partner
How to Get Involved
With this form we are collecting input from resource and data owners to better understand the current landscape of metadata models and user needs. This information is for planning and exploration only, it does not imply that foundingGIDE will directly implement or harmonize all metadata and queries submitted.
We look forward to working together to refine and advance interoperability in biological and preclinical imaging by laying strong foundations for a global image data ecosystem!
