We are thrilled to announce the foundingGIDE Community Event 2025, taking place in Brisbane, Australia, on October 17-18, 2025. The foundation for the exciting 2025 event was laid with the foundingGIDE Community Event 2024, held in Okazaki, Japan. Hosted online and in-person, the 2024 event brought together a diverse range of stakeholders from around the world to tackle the pressing challenges of imaging interoperability. Here, speakers emphasized the importance of standardizing file formats and developing robust ontologies to make imaging data more accessible and reusable.
